Job summary

The Partners Group LLC is seeking a Personal Lines Account Manager to serve as a trusted resource to clients, helping with coverage decisions, policy changes, and questions. You will work with producers and carriers to deliver proactive service and build long-term relationships across two producers.

Ideal candidates have a Property & Casualty license, 5 years of experience, and strong knowledge of AMS360 and PL Rater tools, with excellent communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

  • Active Property & Casualty Insurance License required.
  • 5 years of Personal Lines Account Manager experience preferable with an independent agency.
  • Proficiency with agency management systems (AMS360 strongly preferred).
  • Familiarity with carriers such as Liberty Mutual, Chubb, PURE, Cincinnati, Travelers, Progressive, Foremost, Arrowhead, and Geovera.
  • Comfortable quoting auto, home, and umbrella policies.
  • Experience using a personal lines rater (PL Rater preferred).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication with clients.
  • Strong organization and ability to manage multiple client needs.

The Partners Group currently has an outstanding opportunity for a property and casualty professional to join our Personal Lines team as an Account Manager.

How you will make an impact at TPG

As a Personal Lines Account Manager, you'll serve as a trusted resource to clients, helping them navigate coverage decisions, policy changes, claims questions, and evolving insurance needs. By conducting thoughtful renewal reviews and identifying opportunities to strengthen coverage, you'll play a direct role in client retention, satisfaction, and long-term relationship growth. You'll also partner closely with producers and carrier partners to deliver proactive service and personalized solutions that support our commitment to exceptional client care. This newly added position will support two producers and help ensure their growing book of business continues to receive responsive, high-quality service.

This role is well suited for someone who genuinely enjoys building relationships, solving problems, and helping clients feel informed and confident about their insurance decisions. The ideal candidate brings both technical Personal Lines expertise and a consultative approach to service, balancing attention to detail with a commitment to creating a positive client experience.

A typical day in this role
  • Manage policy changes, coverage questions, and billing inquiries

Key details

Title: Account Manager

Location: Renton, WA or Portland, OR preferred (Bend, OR considered); onsite at least 1 day/week

Hours: 40 hours/week, Mon-Fri

Compensation: $60,000-70,000 annually (DOE)

Physical Requirements: Ability to sit for long periods of time, ability to communicate verbally and in writing, and ability to handle long periods of screen time.

Travel: Minimal, if any

Requirements
What you'll bring to the table
  • Active Property & Casualty Insurance License (required)
  • 5 years of experience as a Personal Lines Account Manager, preferably with an independent insurance agency
  • Proficiency with agency management systems (AMS360 strongly preferred)
  • Familiarity with carriers such as Liberty Mutual, Chubb, PURE, Cincinnati, Travelers, Progressive, Foremost, Arrowhead, and Geovera
  • Comfortable making policy changes on carrier websites; quoting auto, home, and umbrella
  • Experience using a personal lines rater (PL Rater strongly preferred)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain coverage clearly to clients
  • Strong organization, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple clients' needs effectively
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Word

  • Ability to use generative AI and other digital tools to support job related tasks such as research, drafting, analysis, summarization, planning, and problem solving, while exercising sound judgment, verifying accuracy, and adhering to company policies and ethical guidelines
