We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Account Manager (Packaging Solutions) to join our sales team in our Miami office. This in-office role will focus on selling tailored packaging solutions to companies across the United States, cultivating and growing relationships with our extensive portfolio of over 1,000 existing accounts while aggressively pursuing new business opportunities. As an integral part of our sales force, you will play a critical role in expanding our presence in the industrial packaging sector, leveraging a consultative sales approach to deliver value-driven solutions that meet the unique needs of our clients. This position offers the opportunity to work with a diverse client base, collaborate with internal teams, and contribute to the strategic growth of our packaging division.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales Development: Proactively identify and target potential customers within the industrial packaging industry across the United States. Utilize effective prospecting techniques, including cold calling, email campaigns, and networking, to build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified leads.
- Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and grow relationships with our existing portfolio of over 1,000 accounts, acting as a trusted advisor to understand their packaging needs. Conduct regular check-ins, provide tailored solutions, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction to foster long-term partnerships.
- Solution Selling: Employ a consultative selling approach to communicate the value proposition of our packaging products, including sustainable and customized solutions for agricultural and industrial applications. Collaborate with product development and logistics teams to design and deliver solutions that address client challenges and deliver measurable value.
- Business Development: Drive revenue growth by pursuing new business opportunities and expanding our customer base. Identify key decision-makers, deliver compelling sales presentations, and negotiate contracts to close deals and achieve or exceed sales targets.
- Market Awareness: Stay informed about industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities in the packaging sector. Provide insights to internal teams to enhance product offerings and maintain a competitive edge in the market.
- Account Growth: Develop strategic account plans to maximize growth within existing accounts, identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling additional packaging solutions.
- Reporting and Forecasting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipeline status, and client interactions in our CRM system. Provide regular sales forecasts and reports to management to support strategic planning.
- Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product development, and logistics teams to ensure seamless delivery of solutions and alignment with company goals.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of proven success in outbound sales, preferably within the industrial packaging, agricultural, or related industries. Experience managing a large portfolio of accounts (100+ accounts) is highly desirable.
- Sales Skills: Strong hunting mentality with a passion for generating new business and exceeding sales targets. Demonstrated ability to close deals and drive revenue growth in a competitive environment.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to deliver compelling presentations and negotiate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong relationship-building skills, with a customer-centric approach to understanding and addressing client needs.
- Organization: Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines.

Compensation
The Account Manager (Packaging Solutions) position offers a competitive base salary of $80,000 per year, with the potential to earn up to $10,000 in performance-based bonuses tied to achieving and exceeding sales targets.
