Job Description

Danfoss, a global market leader in Climate and Power Solutions, has an opening for an OEM Focused Account Manager within our Danfoss Climate Solution Group.The primary function of this role is to generate sales within the OEM market segment. Through direct engagement with small/mid-sized customers, the candidate will develop a strong pipeline of new opportunities, strengthen customer relationships, and maximize sales to assigned accounts. This position requires travel throughout the defined region and will be based out of a home office.




We are looking for a remote employee in the southern tier of states (Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, or Texas).


Job Responsibilities

Critical Tasks/Responsibilities:



  • Seek opportunities to increase penetration at existing OEM accounts while identifying prospects for new opportunities.

  • Formulate an action plan to grow profitable sales across all Climate Solutions portfolios.

  • Work to strengthen the Danfoss-Customer relationship

  • Provide technical and sales support to defined accounts within the sales region.

  • Improve Danfoss brand and product awareness within the region

  • Gain a deep understanding of customer applications and become proficient at applying Danfoss products to their applications.


Background & Skills

Basic Minimum Skills Required



  • 5+ years of industry-related experience in a technical sales position

  • Bachelor's degree or Vocational/Technical school degree with equivalent HVACR technical background Stable job history that demonstrates a solid track record of performance.

  • Strong communication skills with ability to connect with management, technical and non-technical people

  • Polished, confident presenter with excellent written and verbal communication skills Computer skills required - Microsoft Office Suite, Salesforce, etc..

  • Must be organized, self-motivated, and an enthusiastic problem solver with the ability to work independently

  • Travel - 30% within sales region
