Job summary

BraunAbility is seeking a Commercial Area Sales Manager for the Northeast Region. The role oversees 11 states, supports commercial dealers, and engages end customers.

Extensive travel and field time are expected, with a home-office setup and collaboration across commercial teams. Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree and relevant experience; additional years or an education/experience mix are considered.

Responsibilities

• Manage commercial product sales across the Northeast states and supervise commercial dealers.

• Forecast bids and new business opportunities; track trends and fleet changes.
• Resolve dealer and end-user issues; assist with warranties and policy questions.
• Organize a home-based office setup and work in collaboration with internal teams.

Commercial Area Sales Manager- Northeast Region

The Northeast Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for all commercial product sales in the following 11 states; Responsibilities would also include managing commercial dealers and supporting the end customers.

Time in the field and overnight travel is required for this position so living in the territory is recommended but not required.

• Assist the dealers in their support of end user issues.
• Must work with Commercial Dealer network Sales, Service and Administration to gather:
• Sales including monthly projections of WAV, lift/ramp and aftermarket products.
• Forecasting upcoming Bus & WAV bids within Salesforce as well as new business opportunities.
• Gathering info on coming sales trends (ZEB, equipment changes in fleets, etc.)
• Front line, firsthand identification of possible product issues in the field, and parts questions and BAC
• Warranty issues and covering policies with dealer personnel
• Must be organized and have time management skills with the ability to work out of a home office.
• Team player that can work well with internal and external commercial team members.
• Proficient knowledge of ERP Systems, Salesforce, Smart client, external facing customer portal to utilize in everyday activities.
• Understand Sales workflow, sale processes from start to finish to assist dealers, i.e., Quoting, Build times, status reporting, shipping, invoicing.

• A combination of education and work experience equal to 4 years will also be considered
• Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2 years of related work experience, preferred.
• An equivalent combination of education and/or related work experience equal to 6 years will also be considered
