Base pay range

$70,000.00/yr - $110,000.00/yr

Our client, a fast-growing company in the creative tech industry, is seeking a proactive and results-driven Account Manager to join their expanding team in New York City. This is an exciting opportunity to manage key client relationships, drive renewals and upsells, and contribute to the company’s continued success.

About the Role

As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of existing clients, ensuring retention, and identifying growth opportunities. You’ll play a key role in maintaining strong customer relationships, optimizing account performance, and driving revenue expansion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Retention & Growth: Manage a portfolio of assigned accounts, ensuring high renewal rates and identifying upsell opportunities.
  • Pipeline & Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients across industries, ensuring satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
  • Sales Meetings & Negotiations: Conduct client check-ins, presentations, and sales meetings to align business objectives with tailored solutions.
  • Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with sales, marketing, product, and customer support teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Industry Awareness: Stay updated on market trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to refine sales strategies.
  • Quota Achievement: Meet or exceed sales targets for renewals and upsells, contributing to overall revenue growth.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience: 2+ years in account management in a B2B environment (SaaS or startup experience preferred).
  • Sales Knowledge: Strong understanding of account growth strategies, lead generation, and pipeline management.
  • CRM Proficiency: Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM software.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence clients across regions (US, EMEA, APAC).
  • Multitasking Ability: Capable of managing multiple client accounts and sales processes simultaneously.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Language: Native or fluent English proficiency required.
  • Hybrid work environment – four days in-office, one remote.
  • Prime office location in SoHo, NYC.
