THIS POSITION IS BASED OUT OF OUR BOLINGBROOK, IL BRANCH LOCATION

Are you ready to join a dynamic team and play a crucial role in shaping the future of material handling? We are actively seeking a Account Manager - Motive Power to join our rapidly growing team in Bolingbrook, IL, serving the greater Chicagoland area. We are looking for someone proactive in finding new sales and hungry for success. This position is responsible for identifying, uncovering, creating, and developing new and additional sales opportunities for Motive Power products and services. Working alongside account managers of material handling products, they will provide subject matter expertise and support. They will develop opportunities with new or existing customers who are not receiving coverage consistent with their potential.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Operate and manage sales territory to ensure complete coverage.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and company personnel.
  • Promote all products and services in the Wolter portfolio, collaborating with support staff.
  • Utilize available tools and expertise to maximize sales opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate customer and sales data in the company database.
  • Stay informed about our products and attend training sessions when available.
  • Submit monthly forecasts and reports on sales activities and lost opportunities.
  • Engage with customers outside of normal hours and attend trade shows as needed.
  • Assist in resolving customer issues and complaints.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Associate’s Degree in Sales and Marketing or equivalent experience in B2B sales, large consumer goods, or motor vehicles.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain business relationships.
  • Track record of achieving personal and professional goals.
  • Ability to implement sales territory management guidelines.
  • Willingness to continuously learn about Motive Power products and competitors.
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Strong computer skills.
  • Alignment with company vision and mission.
  • Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
