Please note: This is a home-based position and requires residency in the greater Dallas/Fort Worth, TX area.
The Account Manager plays a critical role in driving client satisfaction, program growth, and internal collaboration. This position leads the direction of assigned accounts, oversees proposal development, and ensures the successful execution of travel and meeting programs. By building strong client relationships and working closely with internal teams, the Account Manager ensures that each program meets client objectives, maintains brand integrity, and delivers measurable results.
20% – Account Development & Growth
- Lead proposal coordination for new and renewal business opportunities on assigned accounts
- Develop sales presentations and supporting documents to secure future program destinations
- Collaborate with internal teams to scope, plan, and price program elements for client proposals
- Analyze historical program data with Account Executives to identify trends and uncover new opportunities
- Maintain a strategic view of the account to ensure long-term growth and client engagement
40% – Client Relationship Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, ensuring strong relationships and clear communication
- Represent the Company in client meetings, site inspections, and account planning discussions
- Present final program invoices and post-program reports, reinforcing value and strategic alignment
- Maintain a comprehensive history of past and current programs to inform future recommendations
- Act as a strategic advisor to clients, aligning program direction with business goals and KPIs
40% – Internal Leadership & Program Oversight
- Provide leadership and guidance to the internal team supporting the account
- Act as the central liaison between the client and Operations, ensuring alignment across all touchpoints
- Participate in team status meetings, offering insights and direction on destinations, venues, and experiences
- Review and approve budgets, agendas, menus, gifting, communications, and event designs
- Partner with Meeting Event Managers to maximize quality, client satisfaction, and program profitability
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
- 5 years minimum of meeting and event planning experience required.
- Pre-sale administration and presentation/proposal development experience required.
- Travel pricing experience required. Proven ability in developing cost sheets and implementing costing strategies and to understand and suggest technology solutions as business stakeholders.
- Professional verbal and written presentation skills required.
- Ability to travel from 20% to 50% of the time.
- Proven aptitude for technology and/or software solutions and analytical skills required.
