Job summary

STEMCELL Technologies, a Vancouver-based biotechnology company, is seeking an immunology-focused sales professional to expand revenue in the Chicago and Denver markets. The role is remote with travel to the Chicago and Denver areas, with preference for candidates in the Chicago region.

You will partner with academic and industry customers, applying your scientific knowledge to showcase STEMCELL immunology products, support demonstrations, and drive research outcomes across life sciences.

Qualifications

Job Description Summary

Are you looking to take your scientific expertise “off the bench” and help advance research across the life sciences field? If you have a passion for science and a strong background in immunology, we have an exciting opportunity for you! As a member of our Sales team, you will partner with academic and industry customers, using your scientific knowledge and interpersonal skills to support their research with STEMCELL's products. In this results-driven role, you will grow revenue by cultivating and expanding customer relationships across the local Chicago and Denver markets. Leveraging your technical expertise and knowledge of the STEMCELL Immunology portfolio, you will serve as a trusted resource to customers, demonstrating how our solutions can help achieve their research goals and accelerate innovation in the life sciences sector. Please note this is a remote position with travel expectations to the Chicago and Denver areas. However, preference will be given to candidates based in the Chicago area.

Job Description Duties and Responsibilities

• Manage, grow and develop revenue opportunities within a defined territory and contribute to the development of annual team goals and deliver on quarterly objectives
• Plan and execute a territory strategy to drive growth through in-depth product and market knowledge
• Facilitate communication with customers by aligning their needs with appropriate STEMCELL products and support product demonstrations, lunch-and-learns, and seminars
• Conduct day-to-day sales activities including technical support inquiries, quote requests, site visits, and order follow-up
• Assist with technical support and troubleshooting while maintaining sales data integrity within a CRM database

Knowledge and Qualifications

• BSc in Immunology or related science with 1-3 years of technical experience; MSc or Doctorate degree in Immunology or related science (previous sales experience is an asset, but not required)
• Hands-on experience in cellular immunology techniques including primary cell isolation, in vitro immunological assays, multi-color flow cytometry and in vivo animal models is preferred
• Experience with STEMCELL’s primary product lines, related technologies, or relevant customer markets is preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to support customer relationship building

Salary and Benefits

The annual salary for this job ranges from: $139,400.00 - $209,000.00 STEMCELL determines an individual’s pay within the range based on multiple factors including experience, education, job-related skills, and equity within the team or organization. For jobs that are eligible for sales incentives, the range noted above is inclusive of target incentives; actual incentives are based on individual performance results in accordance with company policy. In addition to base salary, STEMCELL offers a comprehensive total rewards package including health benefits, retirement savings, and more.
