Job Title

Sealed Air is seeking a results-driven Account Manager to develop and implement sales strategies aimed at driving new business growth and reclaiming lost accounts. This role focuses on selling Autobag Equipment and Materials, Cryovac Shrink Film, and Shanklin Shrink Equipment, collaborating closely with Regional Sales Directors, Account Managers, and Channel Partners to execute corporate sales initiatives.

Job Description
  1. Develop and implement territory strategies to acquire new business and regain lost accounts, maximizing product sales and market share. Achieve sales plans and new account goals for all assigned product lines.
  2. Collaborate with the Regional Sales Director, Cushioning Account Managers, and SMBs to execute corporate strategies. Support Channel partners with product knowledge and system selling, providing training as needed.
  3. Utilize CRM for timely updates on leads and sales pipelines. Review sales pipelines with RSD at least twice monthly, focusing on accurate projections. Provide quarterly business summaries for critical accounts, partners, and market activity.
  4. Work effectively with internal teams such as customer service, quality assurance, field service, marketing, and others as required.
  5. Manage T & E costs and oversee all field sales demo machinery.
  6. Use time and resources efficiently, maintaining and growing assigned territories and distributor accounts. Review work performance regularly.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or sales preferred.
  • 1-2 years of field sales experience or 2-3 years of inside sales experience, or equivalent training.
  • Knowledge of the flexible packaging market is a plus.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to interpret customer needs and recommend solutions in a consultative manner.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
