Job description

Join to apply for the Account Manager II role at CorVel Corporation.

The Account Manager is responsible for interacting with customers on an executive level and acting as an extension of the client; understanding and communicating agreed-upon expectations to field offices and increasing the market share of business by providing service that meets and exceeds customer expectations, stewardship reporting, commitment to customer goals, and introducing/selling/implementing additional services.

This is a remote position.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities
  1. Provide consultative customer services for one or more new or established accounts.
  2. Introduce new services independently or with assistance as needed.
  3. Handle local or regional accounts.
  4. Manage accounts with revenue in one region and a minimum revenue amount of $1m per account with a combined revenue for all accounts of over $3m.
  5. Drive revenue growth with existing accounts.
  6. Manage all aspects of collections in conjunction with the respective operations management.
  7. Conduct regular stewardship meetings and oversee the integrity and delivery of client-specific reports and information. Identify trends and provide solutions to market and business challenges.
  8. Maintain continuous communication with customers to ensure service expectations are met. Engage senior management in account status, challenges, and goals.
  9. Proactively surface issues to management to prevent escalation. Document issues and resolutions.
  10. Coordinate internal customer setup and external implementation.
  11. Attend and facilitate customer meetings with relevant participants.
  12. Meet mutually agreed standards with customers.
  13. Develop and maintain account service instructions; communicate to staff and post on intranet.
  14. Manage contract renewals and price adjustments in coordination with management.
  15. Present information effectively for contract renewals, service discussions, or additional sales.
  16. Participate in monthly account management calls and document updates and opportunities in Salesforce.
  17. Follow company policies and ensure regular attendance.
  18. Adhere to safety regulations and participate in safety programs.
  19. Perform additional duties as assigned.

  • Knowledge of CorVel’s services and completion of product training modules.
  • Strong business acumen, enthusiasm, and professionalism.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

  • Organizational, analytical, and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software (Salesforce).
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business, sales, or marketing.
  • Management or supervisory experience.
  • Training or experience in insurance, managed care, or related fields preferred.
Pay Range

Range: $68,696 – $114,313, based on location, experience, and qualifications.
