  • Prepare shipping documents for small parcel orders.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Account Manager I position oversees the day-to-day management of an assigned customer base, including taking orders, managing customer expectations and problem solving any issues or complaints. The successful candidate will have previous customer service experience, including answering multi-line phones, and work in a fast-paced environment with multiple software applications. The Account Manager I must be a motivated self-starter, work well in groups and have a broad knowledge of products for all divisions

ATTENDANCE:

Regular and punctual attendance is required.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

English is the primary language of the facility. Ability to read and write, communicate clearly with co-workers and customers and to respond to appropriate questions regarding work process or work product.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals as appropriate to the position.

REASONING ABILITY:

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instruction furnished in written oral and/or diagram form. Ability to define and solve problems and collect data.

  • Maintain existing relationships with distributors in a pre-determined customer territory

  • Work with the sales team, managers, marketing, and co-workers from other departments to ensure the highest quality of support is being provided and all sales needs met

  • Meet all customers’ needs and deliverables according to proposed timelines
  • Remain current with literature/technology related to position and maintains updated methodology and tools as necessary and appropriate
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Ability to set goals, prioritize projects and follow through to completion, while maintaining a budget and following set timetables
  • Use critical thinking skills to analyze and determine the root cause of issues and implement appropriate solutions.
  • Maintain excellent working relationships with co-workers, and other related facilities and companies as appropriate
  • Promote company philosophy, mission and objectives within and to customers outside the facility
  • Seek out new methods and principles and be willing to incorporate them into existing practices
  • Demonstrates honesty and integrity at all times

  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Previous customer service / inside sales experience strongly preferred
  • Strong computer and basic math skills
