Job summary

The American Red Cross in Cincinnati, OH is seeking an Account Manager I to attract, manage and retain Sponsor groups and coordinate blood drives to meet collection goals. Travel to diverse counties will be required as part of territory coverage.

You will schedule drives, support sponsor contacts, and ensure a smooth donor experience while maintaining accurate records and adhering to ARCBS directives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; minimum one year of related experience.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, including training and presentation abilities.
• Current valid driver's license with a good driving record.
• Ability to work on a team and handle multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Identify, develop and implement strategies to attract, manage and retain blood drive Sponsors and feeder groups to meet monthly, quarterly, and annual collection goals.
• Schedule blood drives by Sponsors to meet collection goals and ensure donor flow.
• Provide operational support to sponsor contacts to achieve annual goals.
• Coordinate with collections personnel to ensure positive Sponsor and donor experience and smooth operations.
• Schedule and implement education programs for Sponsor contacts, recruitment committees, volunteers, and Telerecruiters to meet collection objectives.
• Develop knowledge of community and demographics to service Sponsor groups and expand the blood program.
• Maintain records in the system to track Sponsor group performance.

Identify and apply appropriate methods to ensure efficient scheduling of blood drives by assigned Sponsors to meet blood collection goals. Provide sufficient organizational and operational support to sponsor contact to ensure achievement of collection operation and annual goals. Coordinate activities with appropriate collections personnel to ensure a positive Sponsor and donor experience and smooth, efficient operations. Schedule and implement education programs for Sponsor contact, recruitment committees, line volunteers and volunteer Telerecruiters within assigned groups to assist in meeting collection objectives and to comply with all ARCBS directives, Code of Federal Regulations, local operating procedures and other related regulatory requirements. Develop a working knowledge of the community, its government, demographics and organizations. Apply that knowledge to all aspects of servicing Sponsor groups and the expansion of the blood program. Maintain accurate records in the system to provide tracking and statistical data on Sponsor group performance. Appropriately utilize tools, technology and strategy provided by the organization to enhance customer service, efficiency and productivity.***Coverage area will include the following counties:****Hamilton, Adams, Brown, Butler, Clermont, Clinton, Highland, and Warren; the Kentucky counties of Campbell, Kenton, Boone and Grant; as well as the Indiana counties of Dearborn and Ohio.****Salary Starts at $48,000*****Scope**: Individual contributor that works under close supervision. Uses technical knowledge to solve routine types of problems. **Qualifications**: Education: Bachelor's degree required.
