Job summary

Dirty Hands, LLC partners with brands in the natural/organic food and beverage industry to optimize their retail presence. You will represent a portfolio of up to 50 brands and conduct about 10 store visits weekly, starting between 5am and 8am, across Arlington, VA and other DC-area locations.

You will grow brands, maintain retail standards, and report updates using Go Spot Check, while merchandising and fronting shelves to brand guidelines. Full wage range and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience building relationships with retail leaders.
• Ability to maintain effective communication with retail partners.
• Experience reporting updates via a field app (Go Spot Check).
• Merchandising knowledge and shelf maintenance basics.
• Comfort with daily travel between multiple store locations.

Responsibilities

• Represent up to 50 brands in Organic/Natural Food and Beverage at stores.
• Conduct ~10 store visits per week across specified DC area locations.
• Build and maintain a weekly route of store visits in Whole Foods retailers.
• Ensure products are merchandised to brand standards and perform shelf maintenance.

Job description

Who We Are:

We partner with brands in the natural/organic food and beverage industry to optimize their retail presence.

Your Responsibilities:

• You will represent a portfolio of up to 50 brands in the Organic/Natural Food and Beverage industry, such as: Olipop, Chocolove and TruFru.
• You will work approximately 40 hours per week, making 10 store visits per week, Monday through Friday starting between 5am-8am.
• You will be in charge of building and maintaining a consistent route of weekly store visits inWhole Foods Market retailers in the following locations: Arlington, VA, Florida Ave, Foggy Bottom, H Street, P Street, Pentagon City, and South Capitol Hill. Locations are subject to change based on business needs.
• You will be responsible for growing brands in your portfolio and maintaining the highest level of retail standards:
  • Build relationships with retail leaders to promote brands during weekly visits.
  • Maintain proper communication strategies with retail partners via email, call, text, or in-person conversations.
  • Report in real-time on brand updates via an application called Go Spot Check.
  • Ensure that products are merchandised to the brands standards.
  • Perform basic shelf maintenance: facing/fronting, tag compliance, and proper signage.

Physical Requirements:

• Capable of meeting the physical requirements of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation, including but not limited to walking and standing for up to 8 hours; frequent bending, squatting, reaching, twisting, pushing, and pulling; frequent lifting up to 25lbs and occasional lifting between 40 – 50lbs.
• Ability to work in cold environments, such as refrigerated and freezer sections of retail stores, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to drive or otherwise travel between multiple retail locations on a daily basis.

This position has a full wage range of $19.71 - $33.17 per hour.
