Dirty Hands, LLC in the Washington, DC / Arlington, VA area is seeking an Account Manager for Grocery Retail Merchandising. This full-time role entails handling a portfolio of organic brands, visiting Whole Foods Market locations, and ensuring adherence to brand merchandising standards.

You will cultivate relationships with retail leaders, communicate brand updates via Go Spot Check, and uphold high retail standards.

Qualifications

• Represent portfolio of up to 50 brands in Organic/Natural Food and Beverage.
• Work ~40 hours per week, ~10 store visits weekly, Mon-Fri 5am–8am start.
• Maintain weekly route of store visits in Whole Foods Market locations (Arlington VA area).
• Grow brands and maintain brand standards; build relationships with retail leaders.

Responsibilities

• Represent up to 50 brands in Organic/Natural Food and Beverage.
• Build relationships with retail leaders to promote brands during weekly visits.
• Maintain communication with retail partners via email, call, text, or in-person.
• Report updates in real-time using Go Spot Check.
• Ensure products are merchandised to brand standards and perform shelf maintenance.
• Drive between multiple retail locations as required.

Account Manager- Grocery Retail Merchandising

This is a full-time position with a target hiring range of $19.71 - $26.00 per hour with eligibility for a quarterly bonus. Starting wage is based on a variety of factors including but not limited to geographic location and experience.

Our ideal location for a candidate to reside is in the Washington, DC / Arlington, VAarea.

Who We Are:

We partner with brands in the natural/organic food and beverage industry to optimize their retail presence.

Your Responsibilities:

• You will represent a portfolio of up to 50 brands in the Organic/Natural Food and Beverage industry, such as: Olipop, Chocolove and TruFru.
• You will work approximately 40 hours per week, making 10 store visits per week, Monday through Friday starting between 5am-8am.
• You will be in charge of building and maintaining a consistent route of weekly store visits in Whole Foods Market retailers in the following locations: Arlington, VA, Florida Ave, Foggy Bottom, H Street, P Street, Pentagon City, and South Capitol Hill. Locations are subject to change based on business needs.
• You will be responsible for growing brands in your portfolio and maintaining the highest level of retail standards:
• Build relationships with retail leaders to promote brands during weekly visits.
• Maintain proper communication strategies with retail partners via email, call, text, or in-person conversations.
• Report in real-time on brand updates via an application called Go Spot Check.
• Ensure that products are merchandised to the brands standards.
• Perform basic shelf maintenance: facing/fronting, tag compliance, and proper signage.
• Competitive pay with edibility for yearly merit-based wage increases.

Physical Requirements:

• Capable of meeting the physical requirements of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation, including but not limited to walking and standing for up to 8 hours; frequent bending, squatting, reaching, twisting, pushing, and pulling; frequent lifting up to 25lbs and occasional lifting between 40 – 50lbs.
• Ability to work in cold environments, such as refrigerated and freezer sections of retail stores, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to drive or otherwise travel between multiple retail locations on a daily basis.

This position has a full wage range of $19.71 - $33.17 per hour.
