Job summary

Lockton is seeking an Account Manager-Global Business in Kansas City, MO. You will manage designated US client portfolios, coordinating with Lockton Global and leadership teams to deliver comprehensive marketing, claims and administration support.

Ideal candidates bring 2–7 years of client services experience, strong Microsoft Office skills, and excellent communication. Occasional after-hours work may be required, with a focus on maintaining timely, accurate client service delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field or equivalent experience.
• 2–7 years of client services experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of industry trends and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Services designated book of business including marketing, claims and administration.
• Responds to client inquiries and maintains communications documentation.
• Supports implementation of new lines of coverage by setting up accounts and reviewing plan details with client and carrier.
• Gathers exposure information from the client and compiles loss-run schedules and stratifications.
• Analyzes exposures, identifies risks and data accuracy issues.
• Requests and collects quotes from carriers for new and renewal business.
• Audits quotes, binders and endorsements and requests changes as needed.
• Processes audits and creates audit analysis for the client.
• Updates specifications, applications and summary information to reflect changes during the year.
• Monitors and manages daily service coordination and risk management needs of clients.

The Account Manager will work on US clients of all sizes. The ideal candidate will work closely with our Global Business Leadership team to help create the industry leading experience. The candidate will need to be one with high energy, a positive attitude, and the desire to solve complex problems.

Job Responsibilities:

• Services designated book of business as relating to marketing, claims and administration
• Responds to Client's inquiries, maintains documentation of communications, existing issues, and issues resolutions
• Supports implementation of new lines of coverage by setting up account, collecting needed documentation, and reviewing plan details with Client and Carrier

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field and or years of experience equivalent
• 2-7 years of Client services experience is required
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint)
• Strong verbal and written interpersonal communication skills required
• Understands industry trends and governmental regulations
• Ability to complete continuing education requirements as needed
• Ability to attend company, department and team meetings as required, including industry training sessions
• Ability to comply with all company policies and procedures, proactively protecting confidentiality of client and company information
• Effectively organize work and manage time in order to meet deadlines
• Willing to work outside of normal business hours if necessary
• Ability to meet or exceed client-sensitive deadlines
• Legally eligible to work in the United States
