Job summary

North Coast, part of the Sonepar family, seeks an energetic Construction Sales professional for the Puget Sound market. You will develop new accounts, support existing ones, manage pricing and vendor contracts, generate quotes, and leverage resources to win project work.

The role emphasizes relationship-building, strategic planning, and a proactive, customer-focused approach in a fast-paced environment with travel to customer locations.

Qualifications

• Construction sales experience is required.
• Strong organizational and planning skills.
• Experience in lighting or gear quotations is preferred.
• Proof of a clean driving record with no major infractions in 3–5 years.
• Proficient with smartphones and laptop use.
• Customer-focused with a team orientation.
• Self-motivated, outgoing, and goal-driven.
• Excellent time management and prioritization abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop new accounts and support existing accounts in the Puget Sound Market.
• Manage and grow market share of existing, assigned, and new accounts.
• Manage customer pricing and vendor contracts.
• Generate quotations and provide tracking and market intelligence for projects.
• Promote NCE market-specific initiatives and leverage NCE resources.
• Create and implement NCE-specific business plans with vendors and customers.
• Other duties as assigned.
