Responsibilities

  • Drive sales growth of dsm-firmenich products across the nutraceutical, infant nutrition, and medical nutrition sectors, meeting volume, pricing, and profitability targets.
  • Build and manage a robust customer pipeline using CRM tools, including accurate forecasting and regular performance analysis to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities by prospecting potential customers and promoting innovative solutions.
  • Prepare and present compelling commercial proposals and pricing quotes tailored to customer needs and market conditions.
  • Gather and communicate relevant market intelligence, including competitive actions and customer insights, to inform strategic decisions.
  • Deliver impactful presentations to enhance customer understanding of dsm-firmenich’s value proposition and strengthen brand presence.

The salary or hourly wage scale provided reflects the pay range dsm-firmenich expects to pay the successful candidate for the position. Individual pay offered will be based on the applicant’s job-related skills, experience, relevant education, or training, and primary work location. This position is also eligible for bonuses and benefits, which are not included in the pay scale provided. Salary $111,000-$160,000.

You Bring

  • Bachelor’s Degree required in technical or business field, plus a minimum of 5 years of experience in a sales, business development, and/or account management role within B2B environment
  • Nutraceutical industry experience a strong plus but not required
  • Experience in the infant formula industry a plus
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time – primarily domestic travel
  • Demonstrates experience in communicating with a variety of functions to generate sales
  • Positive attitude with a drive toward meeting and exceeding targets
