POSITION SUMMARY

WE ARE VERITONE LICENSING

Account Manager - East Coast Preferred

Veritone Licensing (VL) is a premier content licensing firm representing some of the biggest properties in sports, news, and studio-produced video content. Reporting to the VP of Sports Media and Commercial Partnerships, this Account Manager will grow accounts, prioritize new revenue, and uncover business opportunities in the evolving sports landscape through licensing Veritone’s media assets. The ideal candidate is entrepreneurial-minded, an immediate contributor, and will develop sales tactics tailored for advertising agencies, brands, and corporate sponsors to drive revenue growth for VL. WHAT YOU'LL DO
  1. Maintain accountability for quarterly revenue goals.
  2. Generate new sales through proactive outbound activities, including account mapping, prospecting, and marketing campaigns.
  3. Represent the company, showcasing the value proposition, differentiators, and ROI of Veritone’s products and services.
  4. Navigate licensing landscape by understanding partner sensitivities and restrictions to ensure client success.
  5. Manage multiple priorities and complex projects across departments.
  6. Collaborate with vertical directors on content licensing strategies, awareness, collateral, and pricing.
  7. Negotiate licensing agreements and work with Legal to draft contracts.
  8. Provide revenue forecasts to leadership.
  9. Work with partners and clients to facilitate project approvals.
  10. Research and deliver archived media to support client creative projects.
  11. Assist with client registrations, portal access, and troubleshooting.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
  • Related BS degree.
  • 4+ years of experience in Sports, Business Development, Media Rights, or Advertising Agency.
  • Deep knowledge of the sports industry.
  • Comfort with daily client engagement and business development.
  • Proven success in cultivating accounts and generating revenue from cold leads.
  • Willingness to support clients across time zones, domestically and internationally.
  • Innovative mindset and proactive attitude.
  • Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and deadline execution skills.
  • Proficiency in media rights, data, and contracts.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
