Job Summary:

Account Managers perform routine responsibilities and are primary points of contact for clients. They develop coverage strategies and plans with occasional guidance or supervision.

Responsibilities:
  • Service accounts, including quotes, policy issuance, ID cards, endorsements, claims, renewals, follow-up, and correspondence.
  • Respond to client inquiries, mail, and company requests promptly.
  • Assist in insurance marketing and sales efforts.
  • Collect renewal data and support claims processes.
  • Develop coverage strategies and review policies and endorsements for accuracy.
  • Maintain client data in agency management systems (Applied Systems / EPIC).
  • Utilize upload, download, and interface technology effectively.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure proper policy issuance.
  • Keep producers informed of account activities and potential issues.
  • Stay current with industry trends through seminars and training.
  • Maintain knowledge of underwriting requirements and policy provisions.
  • Perform other duties and back-up responsibilities as needed.
Requirements:
  • Active Property & Casualty License.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
  • Mathematical and reasoning skills.
  • Experience with Applied Systems / EPIC is a plus.
  • Knowledge of insurance principles.
Education/Experience:
  • High School diploma required; higher education preferred.
  • At least 2 years of commercial lines experience.
  • CPCU or similar training is a plus.

Posted compensation range for Colorado and Washington applicants.

Pay Details: Annual Salary: $55,000 - $75,000
