About the Role:

Elite Service Solutions is looking for a driven and experienced Field Operations Manager to lead our commercial cleaning and janitorial teams across the Pinellas County, FL area. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll oversee daily field operations, ensure top-tier service quality, and build a motivated workforce. Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate janitorial and commercial cleaning crews across multiple client sites
• Conduct routine site inspections and quality control audits to ensure service standards are met
• Recruit, train, and develop field staff including janitors, cleaners, and team leads
• Manage employee scheduling, shift coverage, and labor deployment for optimal efficiency
• Serve as the primary point of contact for client accounts, addressing concerns and maintaining strong relationships
• Monitor supply inventory, equipment maintenance, and janitorial product usage
• Ensure compliance with OSHA safety standards, cleaning protocols, and company policies
• Report on operational KPIs, staffing issues, and client feedback to senior management

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in janitorial, commercial cleaning, or facilities management operations
• Proven supervisory or management experience leading field-based teams
• Strong knowledge of commercial cleaning standards, equipment, and chemical safety (MSDS/SDS)
• Excellent communication and client relationship management skills
• Ability to manage multiple job sites and prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for daily site visits
• Proficiency with scheduling software, mobile apps, or workforce management tools is a plus
• Establish clear performance expectations and hold personnel accountable.
• Conduct employee performance evaluations and address performance concerns promptly.
• Provide ongoing training, coaching, and corrective action when necessary.
• Ensure employees and subcontractors follow company policies, safety procedures, and quality standards.
• Maintain accurate employee schedules, attendance records, and operational documentation.
• Communicate employee-related matters, including new hires, terminations, attendance issues, and disciplinary concerns, to management and HR promptly.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for assigned clients regarding daily service operations.
• Build and maintain professional relationships with clients, property managers, and facility representatives.
• Respond promptly to client complaints, concerns, and service requests.
• Investigate service deficiencies, implement corrective actions, and follow up to ensure resolution.
• Conduct routine quality-control inspections and document findings.
• Participate in client walkthroughs, site orientations, and operational meetings.
• Proactively identify opportunities to improve service quality and client satisfaction.
