We are seeking an experienced and driven Commercial HVAC New Business Development Manager to lead the charge in securing new recurring revenue streams, with a focus on Preventative Maintenance Agreements (PMAs). This role is critical in expanding our commercial MEP service portfolio and requires a strategic thinker with deep industry knowledge and strong relationship-building skills.
JOB Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities targeting potential clients in industries that match the ideal target clients.
- Develop and execute effective sales strategies to generate new leads and close deals with prospective clients.
- Proactively network and build relationships with key stakeholders, decision-makers, and industry influencers.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, emerging needs, and potential growth areas.
- Meet and exceed quarterly and annual sales targets by driving new business development efforts.
- Prepare detailed proposals, presentations, and sales contracts in collaboration with the sales and technical teams.
- Negotiate terms, pricing, and service agreements that benefit both the client and the company.
- Work closely with internal teams (e.g., engineering, operations, service, and project management) to ensure seamless project execution and delivery of services.
- Track and report on key sales metrics, including pipeline development, revenue forecasts, and performance against targets.
- Support other departments and roles as needed.
Qualifications And Skills
- 3+ years of experience in business development or sales. within the commercial MEP services, or related industries.
- Proven track record of securing new business and driving revenue growth in a competitive market.
- Experience in managing complex sales cycles, including proposal development, contract negotiation, and closing deals.
- Strong understanding of commercial MEP systems, including installation, maintenance, and energy efficiency solutions preferred.
- Ability to develop and implement strategic sales plans with a focus on long-term growth and profitability.
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
Working Environment
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Ability to travel to worksites as needed.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
