Job summary

ACCOUNT MANAGER – CENTRALIZED SALES

Job Description

The Account Manager is responsible for maintaining relationships with existing clients while identifying and pursuing opportunities to grow business with current and target accounts. This role requires strong communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills to deliver exceptional customer service and drive revenue growth. The position collaborates closely with cross-functional teams to ensure client needs are met and long-term partnerships are cultivated.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, building and maintaining long-term, trusted relationships with key stakeholders.
• Develop and implement account plans to analyze current business performance, identify growth opportunities, and address customer challenges.
• Actively manage a portfolio of accounts by addressing client inquiries, resolving issues, and providing tailored solutions to meet customer needs.
• Analyze market trends, customer data, and competitive insights to identify opportunities for business development and share recommendations with internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, product, and customer support, to ensure the successful delivery of solutions and services.
• Proactively identify and pursue new opportunities within existing accounts and target accounts to expand revenue and improve customer satisfaction.
• Manage the sales process by preparing quotes, negotiating pricing, and finalizing agreements that align with company goals and customer expectations.
• Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, account activities, and opportunity pipelines in the CRM system.
• Monitor and report on account performance, including forecasts, revenue growth, and margin management, to ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Organize and lead periodic business reviews with clients to assess satisfaction, identify future needs, and strengthen partnerships.
• Provide exceptional customer service to ensure client satisfaction and retention, acting as a brand ambassador for the company.
• Stay informed about industry trends, product developments, and competitive offerings to deliver valuable insights to clients.

Education and Personal Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in account management or sales, preferably within a related industry.
• Demonstrated success in building and maintaining customer relationships, with a focus on driving long-term growth. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present and influence effectively across various organizational levels.
• Proven ability to manage multiple accounts and projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and prioritizing tasks.
• Results-driven, self-motivated, and capable of thriving in a fast‑paced environment.
• Analytical mindset with strong problem‑solving and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with other sales tools is a plus.
