At STERIS, we help our Customers create a healthier and safer world by providing innovative healthcare and life science product and service solutions globally.

As a Procedural Capital Account Manager, you will be the primary contact and sales consultant responsible for the Procedural Capital portfolio of products, including surgical tables, lights, equipment management systems, and other related products for hospitals and ambulatory surgery centers.

This is a remote-based, customer-facing position. Candidates must be based in or near San Antonio, TX to support and service Customers in this territory.

Responsibilities:
  • Forecast orders and sales monthly, quarterly, and yearly.
  • Provide accurate forecasts for manufacturing and financial reporting.
  • Analyze and report on sales metrics and win/loss data.
  • Maintain current knowledge of product offerings and market dynamics.
  • Share competitive intelligence from various sources.
  • Record customer feedback and complaints through proper channels.
  • Balance current customer needs with prospecting for new business.
  • Utilize sales resources effectively to maximize outcomes.
  • Engage with internal teams and external partners to enhance market understanding.
  • Participate in relevant professional organizations and events.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • At least 3 years of sales experience exceeding goals.
  • 2 years of successful B2B or medical device sales.
  • Experience selling new products and expanding market share.
  • Ability to travel up to 40% overnight.
  • Compliance with hospital/customer credentialing requirements.
Preferred:
  • Experience in medical and capital equipment sales.
  • Experience with OR and Sterile Processing departments.
  • Success selling IT solutions and video integration.
  • Knowledge of hospital purchasing processes.
