On-Target Earnings (OTE): $120,000 – $220,000 per year

Overview

Our client, a leading national distributor of residential and light commercial HVAC products, is seeking an experienced Account Manager – Residential Sales to join their team in Palm Beach County. This is a fantastic opportunity to represent top-tier HVAC brands and work directly with licensed contractors and dealers to grow business across the region.

About the Company

Our client is a major HVAC distributor with over 200 locations across the U.S., Puerto Rico, the Caribbean, Latin America, Mexico, and Canada. Specializing in residential and light commercial HVAC equipment, parts, and supplies, they are well known for delivering excellent products and service to licensed HVAC dealers and contractors nationwide.

Position Summary

The Account Manager – Residential Sales will:

Oversee residential and contractor sales of HVAC equipment, parts, and supplies.

Secure new contractor relationships while maintaining and expanding existing accounts.

Execute strategic sales plans to drive growth in the assigned territory.

Be eligible for strong performance-based bonuses and incentives.

Key Responsibilities

• Territory Development: Analyze and implement strategies to attract competitor accounts and new customers.
• Relationship Management: Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers.
• Customer Support: Address client issues promptly and maintain a high level of service.
• Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities while expanding existing customer business.
• Sales Reporting: Participate in regular sales meetings to discuss progress, challenges, and solutions.
• Digital Tools: Present and manage the company’s digital programs and platforms to help customers succeed.

Candidate Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in HVAC (equipment, parts, supplies, or light commercial) preferred.
• Demonstrated success in sales and new market development.
• Strong communication, presentation, and influencing abilities.
• Self-starter with excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel; experience with CRM systems (Salesforce) preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
