Qualifications

Responsibilities

Our client is dedicated to revolutionizing care for acute and critically ill patients by developing innovative inhaled drug/biologic and device combination products. They are seeking a talented Account Manager for their Washington D.C. territory.

What is the role?

The Account Manager is responsible for achieving sales revenue targets within their designated territory. This role involves managing the entire sales process, including customer engagement, quoting, order processing, product shipment, training clinical staff and distributors, supporting distributors, launching new products in collaboration with the Marketing team, building strong relationships with physicians and clinicians, employing strategic selling skills, and proactively creating sales opportunities. Additionally, the Account Manager is expected to conduct peer-to-peer and promotional events and handle other tasks as requested by their manager.

What are the key responsibilities?
  • Responsible for achieving sales revenue quota for suite of products within assigned territory.
  • Manage entire sales process which includes, but not limited to, gaining customer interest, providing quotations, collecting customer orders, managing shipment of product, customer implementation and training of clinical staff and distributors.
  • Drive and support client distributors.
  • Launch new products in combination with Marketing in territory.
  • Establish strong physician and clinician relationships
  • Possess value-based and strategic selling skills.
  • Be innovative in creating new sales opportunities for clients products.
  • Any other duties at the request of Manager.
  • Conduct peer to peer and promotional events in region.
What education and experience are required?
  • Minimum of a BA/BS Degree or Equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 years in a similar commercial role within the medical device industry.
