Job Description: Account Manager at FloQast

FloQast, founded in 2013 in Los Angeles with offices in New York, London, and Australia, is committed to supporting accounting and finance departments through workflow automation by accountants, for accountants.

The Account Manager will join a fast-growing team to help expand and renew our client base for our Accounting Workflow Automation solution. This role involves applying knowledge of FloQast’s products, sales methodologies, and prospecting techniques to our customer base. The Account Manager will collaborate closely with the Customer Success team to ensure client renewals and high customer satisfaction, focusing on client renewal and expansion across Customer Success, Sales, and Product teams.

This is a remote position, but candidates must be based in the Bay Area.

What You'll Do:
  1. Manage a book of business for existing mid-market clients to foster expansion within the FloQast customer base.
  2. Collaborate with internal teams such as Customer Success, Sales Engineering, and Sales Operations.
  3. Ensure timely growth and customer expansion by managing renewal opportunities and account information within Salesforce.com.
  4. Maintain accurate forecasts and provide sales activity reports.
  5. Increase knowledge of competitors to effectively communicate FloQast’s value proposition.
  6. Achieve or surpass monthly and quarterly targets.
  7. Build relationships, coordinate resources, and solve client issues.
  8. Travel up to 30% within the assigned territory as needed.
  9. Participate in other projects as assigned.
What You'll Bring:
  • BA/BS or equivalent experience preferred.
  • At least 2 years of successful software sales experience, preferably B2B.
  • Knowledge of FloQast/Close Management Software is highly desired.
  • Experience with consultative, solution-based sales methodologies.
  • Proven success in inside and outside sales environments.
  • Excellent communication skills via phone and email.
  • Resilience and ability to work in a fast-paced sales environment, meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Ability to develop trusted client and internal relationships.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and online collaboration tools.
  • Experience with CRM systems like Salesforce.com and Outreach.
  • Ability to develop and manage sales pipeline and forecasting.

The base pay range is $90,000, with eligibility for commissions and other benefits, including medical, dental, vision, family benefits, life & disability insurance, unlimited vacation, and participation in our Employee Stock Program.
