Pelican Wireless has an immediate opportunity for a talented Account/Project Manager. Our customer base is growing exponentially, and we are looking to add this new role to our dynamic team supporting the on-boarding of new clients, managing multiple stakeholders throughout the technology installation and implementation process, training end-users to utilize our software (SaaS) & offer continued support throughout the client’s product journey.
The Account/Project Manager will facilitate regular communications with customers to ensure they are aware of all product capabilities/features to be successful and identify opportunities for additional training. They will assist with tracking opportunities and act as a liaison that streamlines information flow between area partners (end-customers, engineers, contractors, distributor) and the Pelican ecosystem.
A person in this role thrives in a team environment supporting and working in conjunction with the area Business Development Manager and Project Engineer. We are seeking someone with an interest & aptitude for learning technical/mechanical systems, a background or education in engineering, or history of selling SaaS. The ideal candidate will have experience in Account Management/B2B Sales with superior relationship building skills, a great listener, asks good questions, confident, comfortable doing public speaking and training for small groups, organized, excellent writing skills, positive, and eager to learn and grow.

SKILLED WRITER:
Develop clear and effective product messaging and customer follow-up correspondence.
Communicate effectively over the phone, in writing, and in-person within the context of a highly technical consultative sales environment.
Document and track all leads, contacts, opportunities, and activity history consistently.
TIME MANAGEMENT SKILLS:
Ability to identify critical actions and adjust priorities as necessary.
Proven follow-up and customer management skills.
Work closely with Business Development Manager aligning daily activities and practices to effectively meet assigned business objectives through a strategic approach.
TECHNICAL:
Interest in learning complex technical material.
Ability to relay complex technical information in a clear and concise manner.
REQUIREMENTS:
2 + years of proven Account Management/B2B outside sales experience
Technical aptitude
Sense of humor
Computer skills: Excel, MS Office, and a CRM platform
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Insatiable appetite to learn
100% remote with travel to meetings with Pelican Team, clients & partners
Display a “passion to win” by always operating with a positive can-do attitude and being a team player
