Job summary

ContainerPort Group is seeking an adaptive Account Manager to provide superior client support and grow our customer base. The role will require collaboration with internal teams and direct communication with clients, with a hybrid work arrangement and a preference for candidates located in the U.S.

regions where we operate. The successful candidate will manage orders, maintain accurate customer data in Salesforce, and coordinate with colleagues to meet logistics needs while driving new business

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of account management experience in intermodal/trucking.
• High School Diploma required.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Strong communication (verbal, written) across tools (text, email, phone, video).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with internal teams on customer’s logistical needs and updates.
• Follow up with customers regarding current and projected availability.
• Coordinate daily with other account managers, directors, and internal teams.
• Enter daily order updates in the TMS software for customer shipments.
• Record and document customer records in Salesforce.
• Review non-invoice reports with account managers daily.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

About This Role:

ContainerPort Group, a World Group company, is currently looking for an adaptive and versatile person to join our family as an Account Manager to join our growing company! This will be a hybrid position, requiring at least 3 days in office per week, and we are open to this person sitting at any of CPG location throughout the U.S.!

The Account Manager is responsible for providing customer support to our valued clients, while assisting in growing the ContainerPort Group customer base, and will communicate with outside customers as well as internal departments. Does this sound like you or fit your experience?

Duties and Responsibilities

• Coordinating with internal teams on customer’s logistical needs and updates
• Follow-up with customers regarding current and projected availability
• Coordinate daily with other account managers, directors, and internal teams
• Daily order updates in TMS software for customer shipments
• Utilize Salesforce to record and document customer records
• Daily review of non-invoice report with account managers
• Other duties as assigned

Education and Experience

• At least 2-3 years of account management experience in intermodal/trucking required. Warehousing and manufacturing/distribution unfortunately does not apply.
• High School Diploma Required
• Possesses a high degree of initiative
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
• Above average communication skills (verbal, written) required using different tools (text, email, phone, video)
• Effective communication with cross-functional stakeholders
• Must be computer literate and able to use the Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to multi-task in a dynamic work environment
