The Account Manager is a Member-facing insurance operations role within ACIG's Risk Management Services team. This position serves as a key day-to-day resource for assigned Members and brokers, supporting insurance program administration, policy servicing, renewal activities, CCIP administration, and other operational activities that help deliver responsive, accurate, and professional Member service. Success in the role requires strong organization, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple concurrent service activities, CCIP project enrollments, policy transactions, and recurring renewal responsibilities while maintaining a high standard of Member service.
Serve as a key day-to-day contact for assigned ACIG Members and their brokers. Acknowledge and respond to Member inquiries promptly, help resolve routine questions, and coordinate with internal teams when additional technical input is needed.
Coordinate the administration of ACIG's core insurance programs throughout the policy lifecycle, including renewal activities, underwriting information gathering, policy administration, endorsement processing, and audit support. Partner with Members, brokers, and internal teams to ensure policy-related activities are completed accurately and on schedule while supporting ACIG's annual June 1 renewal cycle.
Support the administration of Contractor Controlled Insurance Programs (CCIPs), including project enrollment, quoting support, website administration, and recurring workers' compensation policy renewals. Work closely with Members, brokers, carriers, and internal teams to coordinate a significant volume of project and policy activity while helping ensure programs are administered accurately and efficiently.
Work with internal and external stakeholders to support Member needs and ensure service activities move forward efficiently. Assist with the operational activities associated with excess casualty insurance placements by gathering information, coordinating documentation, tracking submissions, maintaining system data, and supporting communication among stakeholders, including brokers, wholesalers, and carriers. Help ensure requests are routed appropriately, deadlines are met, and follow-up does not fall through the cracks.
Help maintain policy administration records, named insured information, CCIP tracking information, account documentation, and other Member-related data. Ensure information is organized, current, and available to support Member service, internal coordination, and decision-making.
Identify opportunities to improve workflows, documentation, communication, and recurring service activities. Contribute to a team environment where accuracy, responsiveness, and continuous improvement are expected.
This position is based in Richardson, Texas. ACIG currently observes a hybrid work schedule with regular in-office workdays in Richardson. This is not a regular travel role. Occasional travel may be requested for business meetings, training, Member events, or team needs.
