Kratos Defense and Security Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented Account Manager in Plano, TX to support order management, customer communication, and project coordination. You will work closely with Sales, Purchasing, Planning, Manufacturing, Engineering, and Shipping to ensure accurate orders and timely delivery.

Responsibilities include managing Epicor-driven order processes, communicating status, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and maintain smooth workflows.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years experience in customer service or order management.
• ERP experience required; Epicor preferred.
• Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail and ability to handle multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Primary point of contact for internal and external customers with prompt, accurate support.
• Coordinate order entry and validation in Epicor from quote to delivery.
• Monitor orders for on-time delivery, pricing alignment, and exceptions; expedite as needed.

Kratos Antenna Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Account Manager to support order management, customer communication, and project coordination activities. This role ensures accurate order processing, timely delivery, and strong cross-functional collaboration. This position works closely with Sales, Purchasing, Planning, Manufacturing, Engineering, and Shipping to support customer needs and maintain smooth operational workflows. This role requires strong communication, initiative, and a positive, team-oriented approach. Works on assignments requiring judgement and initiative while problem solving customer issues that arise. The position is based in Plano, TX.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Customer Service & Communication

• Primary Point of Contact for internal and external customers, providing prompt, accurate, and professional support.
• Communicate order status, delivery schedules, and issue resolutions clearly and proactively.

Order Management

• Perform order entry and validation in Epicor, ensuring accuracy from quote to delivery.
• Review customer orders to ensure alignment with pricing, scope, and requirements.
• Monitor and troubleshoot customer orders, including on-time delivery performance and exceptions.
• Expedite orders when needed and coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve delays or issues.

Cross-Functional Coordination

• Coordinate with Planning, Production and Procurement to support schedule alignment and delivery commitments.
• Liaise with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Logistics to ensure customer requirements are understood and met.
• Facilitate smooth communication between internal stakeholders to support customer satisfaction.

Logistics & Documentation

• Coordinate shipping activities and support logistics needs based on customer and project requirements.
• Maintain accurate, organized records and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

Light Project Coordination

• Support small or defined customer projects by tracking status, documenting requirements, and coordinating with internal teams.
• Assist with basic planning tasks such as monitoring timelines, tracking deliverables, and communicating progress.

Experience And Skills

• 5-7 years experience in customer service, order management, or related operational support roles.
• ERP experienced required, Epicor preferred.
• Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Demonstrated teamwork, initiative, and a positive, solutions-focused approach.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to communicate clearly, professionally, and thoroughly.
• Other duties as assigned.

Preferred Skills & Experience

• Experience in manufacturing or engineering environments.
• Familiarity with import/export documentation and logistics coordination.
