Job summary

LHH is seeking a Commercial Lines Account Manager in the Greater Pittsburgh Area for an onsite, direct hire role. The position focuses on managing client relationships from renewal through service, and serving as a trusted advisor on commercial property and casualty solutions.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of Commercial Lines P&C experience, an active PA license, strong communication, and proficiency with agency management systems and MS Office. Onsite role with growth potential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Commercial Lines Property & Casualty insurance experience.
• Active Pennsylvania Property & Casualty Insurance License required.
• Strong understanding of commercial insurance coverages and account management processes.
• Excellent communication, relationship-building, and client-facing skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Deliver prompt, accurate, and professional service to commercial insurance clients.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for client inquiries and policy service needs.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, carrier partners, and internal stakeholders.
• Provide guidance on policy coverages, risk management strategies, and insurance solutions.
• Market new and renewal business to insurance carriers.
• Prepare and manage renewal strategies to ensure clients receive competitive coverage options.
• Coordinate with producers and team members throughout the renewal cycle.
• Maintain a high standard of service throughout the client lifecycle.
• Review contracts and insurance requirements to help clients manage risk.
• Maintain accurate client records in the agency management system.

Key Responsibilities

Client Service & Account Management

• Deliver prompt, accurate, and professional service to commercial insurance clients.

Renewal & Marketing Activities

• Market new and renewal business to insurance carriers.
• Prepare and manage renewal strategies to ensure clients receive competitive and appropriate coverage options.
• Coordinate closely with producers and other team members throughout the renewal cycle.
• Maintain a high standard of service throughout the client lifecycle.
• Review existing insurance programs and identify coverage gaps or recommended enhancements.
• Assist clients with understanding policy exclusions, exposures, and risk management considerations.
• Participate in claims reviews and coverage discussions.
• Review contracts and insurance requirements to help clients manage risk effectively.

Policy Administration

• Maintain accurate client records within the agency management system.
• Process and oversee endorsements, certificates of insurance, audits, policy changes, proposals, and policy review activities.
• Ensure all account servicing activities are completed accurately and on schedule.
• Support documentation and compliance requirements across assigned accounts.

Compliance & Best Practices

• Conduct all work in accordance with agency policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain professionalism and confidentiality when handling client information.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Commercial Lines Property & Casualty insurance experience.
• Active Pennsylvania Property & Casualty Insurance License required.
• Strong understanding of commercial insurance coverages and account management processes.
• Excellent communication, relationship-building, and client-facing skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
• Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
