Job summary

Ashfield MedComms is seeking an Account Manager to lead and develop medical affairs and publications accounts, acting as a trusted client partner and ensuring high-quality delivery across programs.

You will manage day-to-day account activity, oversee budgets and timelines, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive client satisfaction and account growth.

Qualifications

  • 2–5+ years of medical communications agency experience.
  • Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, medical affairs, and publications.
  • Confident managing budgets and project finances.
  • Highly organized, collaborative, and proactive with strong communication skills.
  • Strategic thinker with energy, enthusiasm, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Lead client relationships and act as the primary day-to-day contact.
  • Manage multiple medical affairs and publications projects from briefing through delivery including meetings, congress activities, abstracts, manuscripts, scientific content, training materials, and other multichannel communications.
  • Collaborate with Scientific, Editorial, and Creative teams.
  • Oversee budgets, forecasting, and financial performance across accounts.
  • Ensure work is delivered on time, on budget, and to agreed scope.
  • Identify opportunities for organic account growth and support new business efforts.
  • Maintain high standards of quality, compliance, and operational efficiency.

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this position. This range may differ based on your experience and skill set, geographic location, and cost of living considerations.
