Job description

About the role

As an Account Manager at HUMAN, you will own and grow relationships with a portfolio of customers and partners. You will be responsible for customer experience, adoption, retention, renewals, and expansion across HUMAN's solutions.

You will serve as a trusted advisor to key stakeholders, understand their business priorities, identify risks and opportunities, and translate customer needs into clear internal action. Success in this role requires a blend of relationship-building, consultative selling, strategic thinking, commercial discipline, and hands-on problem-solving.

What you'll do
  • Build and maintain meaningful relationships with customer stakeholders and decision-makers, serving as a primary point of contact and developing a strong understanding of their goals, business priorities, challenges, and experiences with HUMAN's products and services.

  • Drive product adoption by confidently sharing product knowledge, best practices, and recommendations that help customers realize value.

  • Develop account strategies and actionable plans that increase customer value over time.

  • Identify, prepare, and execute upsell and cross-sell strategies that support customer outcomes and revenue growth.

  • Lead renewal planning and facilitate seamless renewals by identifying risks early and coordinating the right internal resources.

  • Identify and execute growth strategies that produce upsell and cross-sell opportunities.

  • Analyze account health, performance, engagement, and portfolio trends to identify growth opportunities, risks, and proactive next steps.

  • Lead customer-facing business reviews, strategic planning sessions, and presentations that clearly communicate performance, priorities, and recommendations.

  • Partner with Product, Marketing, Finance, Customer Success, Solutions, and technical teams to resolve issues, deliver strong customer outcomes, and act on customer feedback, market needs, and product or service gaps.

  • Maintain strong pipeline discipline, account visibility, and timely reporting in Salesforce and other internal systems.

  • Represent HUMAN at relevant industry events and use those interactions to strengthen customer relationships and bring market perspective back to customers and internal teams.

  • Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining strong follow-through and a high standard of customer care.

Who you are
  • 8+ years of experience in account management, partner development, consultative sales, or a closely related commercial role, with a track record of carrying and executing against a defined quota.

  • Experience in ad tech, media, digital advertising, or a closely related technology ecosystem, with familiarity across relevant platforms and categories such as ad servers, SSPs, DSPs, exchanges, verification, fraud, and brand safety.

  • A demonstrated ability to think strategically, identify business objectives and challenges, and translate them into compelling value propositions and action plans.

  • A strong record of relationship-building and consultative upselling and cross-selling.

  • Excellent written, verbal, presentation, negotiation, and executive communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with senior customer stakeholders and internal executives.

  • Strong analytical judgment and the ability to use account context, customer data, and market knowledge to shape smart next steps.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills, a collaborative and solutions-oriented approach, and the ability to operate with autonomy in a fast-paced environment with some operational ambiguity.

  • Strong organizational discipline, commercial judgment, and attention to detail.
