This role is centered around managing and expanding client relationships within our Conventional Energy vertical, acting as the go-to individual for both the client and the recruitment team, ensuring that client needs are fully understood and met.
Essential Functions
- · Build and strengthen relationships with existing clients to increase job flow, client control, and awareness of upcoming roles.
- · Collaborate closely with the recruitment team to ensure they have a comprehensive understanding of client needs, supporting them in candidate sourcing and ensuring the best match for open positions.
- · Act as a bridge between the client and the recruitment team, providing insights into client requirements and helping ensure a seamless recruitment process.
- · Identify and unlock new areas within the client business to grow relationships and expand account potential.
- · Manage candidate engagement, working with Recruitment Consultants to ensure high-quality candidates are presented to the client.
- · Increase GP and the number of contractors working with the client or niche market area.
- · Map out client contacts to develop stronger relationships and maximize business opportunities.
- · Solve client issues promptly and efficiently, ensuring excellent client satisfaction.
- · Identify new business opportunities and generate leads for similar clients, replicating the success of existing accounts with new clients.
- · Consistently meet KPI targets and achieve GP growth through effective account management and recruitment support.
- · Share valuable market information with colleagues across global teams to foster collaborative success.
- · Continuously assess and advise on where we can make improvements across the business (client/contractor experience, internal initiatives, etc.).
- · Manage all matters related to your book of business and act as the main point of contact
- · Collaborate and partner with cross-functional teams internally (recruitment, legal, payroll, marketing, etc.)
- · Effectively manage your book of business, staying on top of your sales funnel and forecasting
Responsibilities
- · Maintain regular communication with hiring managers to gather updates, insights, and early leads on upcoming vacancies.
- · Enter new roles into Mercury and conduct intake discussions with assigned recruiters to ensure full qualification of each vacancy.
- · Participate in spotlight calls and engage with relevant stakeholders by asking informed, strategic questions.
- · Follow up with recruiters to obtain timely updates on active roles and recruitment progress.
- · Request and track feedback from managers to support continuous improvement and efficient hiring cycles.
- · Coordinate and process candidate transfers from competing agencies.
- · Plan and organize business trips, meetings, and events involving contractors and managers to support operational needs.

Qualifications and Work Experience
- · 3-4 years of experience in sales and recruitment, or a similar dual role.
- · Proven track record of developing business relationships and closing deals.
- · Strong understanding of recruitment processes, sourcing methods, and interviewing techniques.
- · Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- · Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment.
- · Strong Sales and Business acumen
Preferred Qualifications
- · Knowledge of applicant tracking systems (ATS) and CRM tools.
- · Familiarity with US HR laws and regulations, as well as industry recruitment standards.
