Job summary

Prime Management Group Inc. is proud to be recruiting a dynamic and motivated Account Manager on behalf of this well-established manufacturer. As a key contributor to the organization’s commercial team, the Account Manager will be responsible for driving profitable sales within an assigned territory or market segment. This role requires a customer-centric sales professional with a strong ability to foster long-term relationships, identify client needs, and provide tailored product solutions. This is a remote role supporting clients in the Chicago area.

The successful candidate will also:

  • Meet or exceed annual sales and margin targets within the assigned territory

  • Build and maintain relationships with new and existing clients, identifying challenges and recommending solutions

  • Create and execute territory-specific sales plans, forecasting growth and targeting key accounts

  • Record and report sales activity including monthly performance, forecasts, and competitive intelligence

  • Provide insight into emerging product opportunities and collaborate on pricing recommendations

  • Qualify and nurture leads provided by Sales Leadership

  • Deliver exceptional customer service and support while upholding the company’s commitment to quality and continuous improvement

  • Travel as required to maintain call frequency and customer contact

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate is a driven and communicative professional who thrives in a performance-oriented environment and is passionate about building lasting client partnerships. A background in plastics or chemical sales is an asset.

  • College diploma or degree, preferably in business, science, or a related technical field

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant sales experience, ideally in plastics or a related industry

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Proven negotiation and relationship management abilities

  • Proficient in computer use and data entry, including CRM and Microsoft Office

  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively
