Job summary

ESS in New Jersey is seeking an Account Manager to oversee daily operations across assigned school districts. You will serve as the liaison between district administrators, ESS staff, and the corporate office to ensure high-quality service delivery.

The role requires hands-on leadership, staff recruitment and development, site visits, presentations to school boards, and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment while maintaining ethics and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of experience in management or a leadership role.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and ethical standards.
• Familiarity with management reports.
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to interact well with others.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site visits and meetings with ESS clients within the district.
• Serve as point of contact with each client and ESS management on contracts and operations.
• Manage and motivate staff, including hiring, firing, disciplinary actions, and recognition.
• Assist with presentations to the school board of education.
• Train, direct, and appraise staff.
• Create daily schedules for manpower utilization.
• Develop recruiting efforts for clients through job fairs and events.
• Provide exceptional customer service and issue resolution.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Regional Manager.

OVERVIEW: The Account Manager is responsible for managing the overall daily operations, activities, and staff in assigned school districts, acting as a liaison between ESS staff members, school district administrators and the corporate office to ensure the delivery of quality services.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Conduct site-visits and meetings with ESS clients within the district.
• Serve as point of contact with each client and ESS management in all matters relating to contract and account operations.
• Manage and motivate staff, including hiring, firing, disciplinary management, and recognition duties.
• Assist with presentations to the school board of education.
• Train, direct, and appraise staff.
• Make daily schedules for proper manpower utilization.
• Develop and implement recruiting efforts for clients, such as job fairs and special hiring events.
• Provide exceptional customer service by providing solutions to issues in a professional and empathetic manner.
• Other duties as assigned by Regional Manager.
