The Account Management Specialist will report to the Sales Operation Manager. We are seeking a highly detail-oriented, analytical and proactive team member that will be the operational backbone for assigned accounts. You will process orders, own the end-to-end customer backlog, providing order statuses and updates promptly and accurately, provide quotations and maintain and process new customer account set ups. The team member will work in coordination with Sales, Product Sales Management, Finance, Logistics, and our Taiwan Factory.
The Account Management Specialist position is office based.
Highly detail oriented, with strong analytical skills that thrives in a fast-paced environment, and can independently manage complex orders scenarios while maintaining clear communication across stakeholders.
Able to work independently and build strong relationships with internal and external customers. Support, sustain and help grow existing accounts for assigned region, enabling sales to focus and pursuit new account opportunities.
Review purchase orders and once all requirements are validated and met ensure orders are processed in a timely manner with accuracy.
Create, update and maintain customer master customer accounts.
Generate formal quotations efficiently and accurately.
Primary liaison between internal departments collaborating to provide order statuses, shipping schedules, pricing, and product availability.
Proactive to maintain customer backlogs ensuring all open orders are accurate.
Provide support and follow up for sales organization.
Work on problems of moderate to complex scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors.
Exercise judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.
Process drop ship documentation with high precision, and ensuring adherence to departmental procedures.
Maintain high productivity and a positive, solution-oriented attitude during sudden changes to project priorities, shifting operational workflows or urgent schedule adjustments.
Execute any additional job duties, administrative tasks, or special projects that may be assigned to support both customer and departmental goals.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit; regularly use hands to handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; talk and hear; and doing things such as analytical work or reports, which requires focus, while utilizing a computer. Must be able to operate general office equipment. Physical stamina to stand, reach, bend, lift, grasp, and kneel. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate.
