Job summary

Toyota Tsusho America, Inc. is seeking an Account Representative II in Seattle to support day-to-day operations for assigned accounts, manage purchasing and inventory analysis, and process quotes and pricing updates. You will work closely with leadership to ensure accurate master data and compliant documentation.

The role requires strong Excel skills, effective communication, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while building strong customer relationships.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain or related field required.
  • 0–2 years’ experience in automotive, manufacturing, or B2B customer service/sales ops preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving and issue-resolution skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

  • Owns end-to-end sales order execution and OTIF targets with accurate ASN/EDI and shipment status.
  • Plans and procures raw materials to forecast; maintains safety stock and lead times.
  • Applies Oracle functionality to streamline workflows and share best practices.
  • Leads RFQ intake and quotation development; builds cost-ups and pricing scenarios.
  • Maintains item/customer/pricing/lead-time data; executes price updates on schedule.
  • Facilitates customer meetings; supports audits and ensures documentation for HTS/IMDS.
  • Monitors credit limits and order release compliance; manages inventory aging.
  • Produces budgets and monthly sales/gross-profit reporting; investigates variances.
  • Supports Quality resolution and PPAP; assists AR collections.

Summary

The Account Representative II supports day-to-day operations for assigned accounts in close partnership with leadership, maintaining accurate master data and ensuring complete, compliant documentation. Key responsibilities include managing purchasing and supply chain inventory analysis, preparing quotes, tracking orders and shipments, and processing pricing updates. This role requires success in a fast‑paced environment and strong computer proficiency with spreadsheets and common business applications. Excellent relationship‑building skills and clear, concise written and verbal communication are essential.

What You’ll Do
  • Owns end‑to‑end sales order execution and JIT delivery to achieve on‑time, in‑full (OTIF) targets; ensures accurate ASNs/EDI and proactive shipment status communication.
  • Plans and procures raw materials to forecast; reconciles supply to demand; sustains agreed safety‑stock and lead‑time parameters; flags and mitigates shortages and excess.
  • Applies Native Rock and Oracle functionality to streamline workflows; adopts new features and shares best practices to improve accuracy, speed, and control.
  • Leads RFQ intake and quotation development; builds cost‑ups and pricing scenarios that meet margin guidelines; delivers quotes within agreed cycle times.
  • Maintains accurate item, customer, pricing, and lead‑time data; executes approved price updates on schedule with zero defects.
  • Facilitates customer meetings; supports internal and external audits; ensures complete, current documentation for HTS, anti‑dumping, conflict minerals, and IMDS.
  • Monitors credit limits and order release compliance; manages inventory aging; identifies slow movers and drives disposition or recovery actions.
  • Produces customer budgets and monthly sales/gross‑profit reporting; investigates variances and recommends corrective actions.
  • Supports Quality resolution and coordinates PPAP document routing; resolves routine pricing discrepancies with customers and suppliers; supports AR collections.
  • Other duties may be assigned.
What You Need
  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Management, or related field.
  • 0 - 2 years’ experience in automotive, manufacturing, or B2B customer service/sales ops; internships/co‑ops valued.
  • Strong problem‑solving and issue resolution skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Effective communication and relationship‑building skills.
