Job summary

Kem Krest is seeking an AI & Business Process Improvement Intern to support the Account Management team by leveraging AI, automation, and data analytics to improve efficiency and enhance customer support processes.

Working closely with Account Managers and cross-functional teams, the intern will help streamline reporting, reduce manual tasks, and develop innovative solutions that improve productivity and decision-making.

Qualifications

  • Strong interest in AI, automation, analytics, and process improvement.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Identify opportunities to automate recurring reports, dashboards, and data analyses.
  • Evaluate existing Account Management processes for efficiency.
  • Research, evaluate, test AI tools to boost productivity.
  • Develop workflows, automations, and process documentation.
  • Collaborate with team members to translate requirements into solutions.
  • Analyze data and present findings and business cases to leadership.
  • Support special projects focused on operational excellence.
  • Create and maintain documentation for process improvements.

Internship Overview

The AI & Business Process Improvement Intern will support the Account Management team by identifying and implementing opportunities to leverage Artificial Intelligence (AI), automation, and data analytics to improve efficiency and enhance customer support processes. Working closely with Account Managers and cross-functional teams, the intern will help streamline reporting, reduce manual administrative tasks, and develop innovative solutions that improve productivity and decision-making.


This role provides valuable exposure to customer account management, business analytics, process improvement, and emerging technologies, while helping drive operational excellence across the organization.


Key Responsibilities


  • Identify opportunities to automate recurring reports, dashboards, and data analysis activities.

  • Evaluate existing Account Management processes and recommend efficiency improvements.

  • Research, evaluate, and test AI tools and technologies that can enhance team productivity and customer support.

  • Assist in developing workflows, automations, and process documentation.

  • Partner with team members to understand business challenges and translate requirements into practical solutions.

  • Analyze data and present findings, recommendations, and business cases to leadership.

  • Support special projects focused on operational excellence and continuous improvement.

  • Create and maintain documentation to support process improvements and technology adoption.


Requirements


  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in Business, Data Analytics, Information Technology, Computer Science, Supply Chain, or a related field.

  • Strong interest in AI, automation, analytics, and business process improvement.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.

  • Positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and strong attention to detail.


Preferred Qualifications


  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 applications, Power BI, Power Automate, Copilot, or other emerging AI technologies.

  • Previous internship experience or coursework in data analytics, information systems, process improvement, business intelligence, or a related field.

  • Experience working with large datasets, reporting tools, or dashboard development.

  • Interest in leveraging technology to drive operational efficiency and business outcomes.
