Job summary

American Digital Security in Missouri seeks an Outside Sales professional to establish and maintain relationships with current and prospective customers in the STL region. You will generate leads and support the bid team to close opportunities that meet leadership guidelines.

The role emphasizes security and access control expertise, customer relationship management, and collaboration with marketing and accounting. Travel is required locally and occasionally overnight.

Qualifications

• At least 3+ years’ experience in the Access Security field.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or a closely related field is preferred.
• Ability to travel locally during the business day and travel out-of-area overnight.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, understanding their security needs and satisfaction.
• Represent the Company’s full line of products and services.
• Systematically target and acquire new customers and penetrate existing customers.

As an Outside Sales team member, you will be responsible for establishing and maintain professional relationships with current and prospective customers. • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws and regulations related to security services.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This position manages customer relations and leads generation in the assigned territory.

Work Environment/Physical Demands:

This job operates in an off-site, customer facing location. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, fax machines and copy machines. Must be able to sit, stand, bend, stoop, and lift up to 25 pounds.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are generally Monday through Friday, during normal hours of operation. This position may also require occasional weekend work.

Travel:

Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some overnight travel may be expected.

Required Education, Experience & Abilities:

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or a closely related field is preferred.
• At least 3+ years’ experience in the Access Security field. Experience may be accepted in lieu of education requirements.
• Ability to travel locally during the business day and travel out-of-area overnight.
