Job summary

Mediabistro in Boston is seeking an Account Executive to blend account management with light social media on a hybrid basis, with remote-first approach and optional office access. You will be the day-to-day client contact across a diverse roster, run meetings, translate goals into briefs, manage timelines and budgets, and ensure deliverables stay on track.

Also hands-on social media support: captions, posting, calendars, monitoring.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years in account management or agency work.
• Experience in social media and marketing.
• Proficiency with Instagram, TikTok, and basic analytics.
• Experience writing captions and managing social calendars.
• Daily AI tool usage for drafting and workflow.
• Excellent communication and organization.

Responsibilities

• Serve as day-to-day client contact for diverse brands.
• Lead client meetings and maintain weekly agendas.
• Translate client goals into internal briefs for teams.
• Manage timelines, budgets, and scopes across accounts.
• Assist with monthly content calendars, approvals, posting schedules.
• Upload content, write captions, and format assets for IG, TikTok, Facebook, and Pinterest.
• Monitor community engagement and escalate issues.
• Pull monthly/quarterly metrics and topline summaries.
• Track trends and competitor activity to inform content and recommendations.
• Support internal workflows across creative, influencer, strategy, and production teams.
• Help launch small campaigns across organic, paid, and influencer channels.
