Job Overview

The Account Executive, SMB Team Sales role at T-Mobile is designed for ambitious, results-driven sales professionals passionate about building customer relationships and expanding T-Mobile's reach into underserved markets.

This is a hunter role focused on meeting and exceeding sales quotas by acquiring new small and medium-sized business accounts (1-299 employees). Responsibilities include prospecting, cold-calling, networking, lead generation, analyzing customer needs, and applying solution-based selling techniques to demonstrate value and close deals.

Note: Although listed as "remote," candidates must reside within the Phoenix territory as this is a field sales role due to the absence of a corporate office in that area.

Job Responsibilities
  • Lead generation through prospecting, cold calling, and networking under sales manager supervision.
  • Demonstrate T-Mobile’s value by recommending wireless solutions, including plans, data services, handsets, and accessories.
  • Negotiate and close deals.
  • Develop skills in prospecting, call execution, and relationship management; participate in training and sales meetings.
  • Create effective sales approaches, solutions, and proposals.
  • Utilize sales automation tools, manage sales funnel, and report on activities and forecasts.
Education and Experience
  • High School Diploma/GED required.
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • 1+ years of verifiable sales experience in new customer acquisition, preferably in a commissioned environment.
  • Outside B2B sales experience preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Ability to multitask in a dynamic environment (Required).
  • Superior customer service and attention to detail (Required).
  • Excellent communication skills (Required).
  • Effective negotiation and closing skills (Required).
  • Cold calling and prospect management experience (Preferred).
  • CRM experience, e.g., Salesforce (Preferred).
  • Proposal writing experience (Preferred).
  • Must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the US.

Additional Details

Compensation ranges from $71,800 to $129,400, including incentives. Base pay ranges from $43,080 to $77,640, depending on location, qualifications, and experience. For specific pay details, click here.

Employees are eligible for monthly or quarterly sales incentives.
