Job Overview

The Account Executive, SMB Team Sales role at T-Mobile is designed for ambitious, results-driven sales professionals passionate about building customer relationships and bringing T-Mobile's products to underserved markets.

This is a hunter role focused on meeting and exceeding sales quotas by acquiring new SMB accounts (1-299 employees) and developing skills for career advancement. You will sell products, services, and solutions through prospecting, cold-calling, networking, and generating leads, analyzing customer needs, and demonstrating the value of T-Mobile’s offerings.

Location Note: Though listed as VA-Remote, candidates must reside within the Norfolk, VA territory.

Responsibilities
  1. Lead Generation: Prospect and generate leads in developed and underdeveloped territories.
  2. Customer Needs: Recommend wireless solutions, including plans, data services, handsets, and accessories.
  3. Deal Negotiation: Negotiate and close sales deals.
  4. Skill Development: Enhance prospecting, calling, and relationship management skills through training and meetings.
  5. Sales Approaches: Develop effective sales strategies and proposals.
  6. Sales Automation: Use CRM tools like Salesforce to manage sales activities and reports.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma/GED (Required); Bachelor's Degree (Preferred)
  • 1+ years of sales experience, preferably in a commissioned environment
  • Experience in outside B2B sales (Preferred)
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills (Required)
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment (Required)
  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
  • At least 18 years old
Additional Details

Travel required: Yes

Pay Range: $71,800 - $129,400 total target cash, with details on base pay and incentives provided.
