Job Overview

The Account Executive, SMB Team Sales role at T-Mobile is designed for ambitious sales professionals passionate about building customer relationships and promoting T-Mobile's products and services to underserved markets. This is a true hunter role focused on meeting and exceeding monthly sales quotas by acquiring new accounts with small and medium-sized businesses (1-299 employees). Responsibilities include prospecting, cold-calling, networking, analyzing customer needs, and using solution-based selling techniques to demonstrate value and close deals.

Job Responsibilities
  • Lead generation through prospecting, cold calling, and networking.
  • Assess customer needs and recommend suitable wireless solutions.
  • Present and close sales deals.
  • Develop skills in prospecting, call execution, and relationship management.
  • Create effective sales approaches and proposals.
  • Utilize sales automation tools and report on sales activities and forecasts.
Education and Experience
  • High School Diploma/GED required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Minimum 1 year of verifiable new customer acquisition sales experience; outside B2B sales experience preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Ability to multitask in a dynamic environment (Required).
  • Superior customer service and attention to detail (Required).
  • Excellent communication skills (Required).
  • Negotiation and closing skills (Required).

Additional Details

This role requires travel to the Grand Rapids area and offers a total target cash compensation of $71,800 - $129,400, including incentives. Base pay ranges from $43,080 to $77,640, depending on experience and location. Employees are eligible for various benefits, including health insurance, 401(k), stock options, paid time off, and discounts.
