Account Executive - State and Local Government (SLG)

Overview:
Our client is seeking a highly experienced Account Executive with expertise in state and local government and insurance subrogation to join their growing team. As the Account Executive, you will lead efforts to prospect, secure, and maintain key client accounts in the public sector, delivering value through effective client management and strategic integration.
What You Will Do:
- Client Acquisition: Research and identify potential clients in the SLG sector, set appointments, and establish a strong marketing presence leveraging relationships and social media.
- Account Management: Secure client accounts and lead their successful integration, ensuring long-term partnerships.
- Client Reporting: Support the client management team by delivering results-oriented reports at quarterly or client-defined intervals.
How You Will Do It:
- Develop and manage a sales funnel aimed at meeting annual growth targets and revenue forecasts.
- Track leads, opportunities, and client accounts through Salesforce.com.
- Communicate the value proposition to clients, driving full buy-in to establish profitable, long-term partnerships.
- Build and maintain communication routines with prospects and clients via phone, video conferencing, or in-person visits.
- Leverage existing client relationships for referrals and introductions to new opportunities.
- Provide marketing insights to craft compelling proposals, showcasing potential recovery dollars to encourage program adoption.
- Have in-depth knowledge of fleet insurance claims and subrogation.
- Utilize contact databases like ZoomInfo for research, to close deals efficiently.
- Collaborate with client success teams to deliver timely, crucial information to clients.
- Participate in trade shows, networking events, and trade organization meetings as needed.
- Align with operations to support strategic objectives.
- Contribute client success stories and testimonials for marketing use.
What You Will Bring:
- Proven experience selling to State, County, Cities, & Municipalities.
- Established network of contacts within state and local governments across the country.
- Strong sales hunter mentality with a demonstrated ability to close deals.
- Deep understanding of public sector entities and their decision-making processes.
- Exceptional skills in showcasing the financial benefits of our solutions.
- Bonus points if you have in-depth knowledge of fleet insurance and subrogation practices. Also bonus points for Fleet Sales knowledge.
