Job summary

CAC Group, part of The Baldwin Group, seeks an Account Executive in Oregon to manage marketing and service processes for large Risk Management/National accounts. You will coordinate brokerage teams, reviews of renewal submissions, and client meetings to ensure timely, accurate delivery of services.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree, a state license, 10+ years in commercial insurance with large accounts, and strong communication skills. Traveling up to 20% of time is expected.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate brokerage teams, risk control, claims, financial lines, ensuring services meet expectations
• Establish, drive processes, and monitor renewal timelines for client renewals
• Assist with renewal meetings to present results to client contacts
• Participate in client meetings and lead when necessary
• Understand complex financial analysis and claims data
• Participate in prospect meetings when needed
• Identify areas for expanded business with existing clients
• Prepare renewal submissions for marketing; manage submissions
• Analyze quotes and prepare a quotes spreadsheet
• Assist in data analysis to determine program structure options
• Create client presentations including quotes and contracts
• Oversee implementation process
• Review documents for accuracy and request revisions as needed

The Account Executive will work closely with clients to manage the marketing & service processes for our largest and most complex Risk Management/National accounts. The Account Executive will work across all aspects of the client service and delivery processes

Client Duties & Responsibilities:

• Coordination of brokerage teams, risk control, claims, financial lines - essentially making sure all service are delivered and expectations are met.
• Establish, drive processes, and monitor critical timelines for annual insurance renewals of clients
• Assist with renewal meetings to present results to established client contacts
• Participate in client meetings and lead when necessary
• Understand complex financial analysis and claims data
• Participate as needed in Prospect presentation meetings
• Identity and facilitate possible areas for expanded business with existing clients
• Prepare renewal submissions for marketing; send and process complete renewal submissions
• Analyze quotes for accuracy and prepare spreadsheet of all quotes received
• Assist in data analysis to determine program structure options
• Create client presentation including quotes, spreadsheet, contract comparison and other internal marketing materials
• Oversee implementation process
• Review documents issued by insurance company for accuracy. Submit incorrect documents to insurance companies for revision.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree required; substantial work experience may be considered in lieu of degree
• State specific license is required
• 10+ years of commercial insurance work experience with large accounts is required
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Strong multitasking & time management skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products; (Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Publisher)
• AI knowledge a plus
• Both AE work and broking/placement experience a major plus, as it shows an increased technical insurance knowledge
• Professional in appearance and business conduct with strong customer service
• Ability to travel to client and prospect meetings approximately 20% of time
