We are currently seeking an Account Executive for a client, working remotely from Missouri/Kansas. In this role, you will support a Senior Sales Manager in closing new business and managing relationships with school districts across Missouri and Kansas. The position combines sales support, client relationship management, and account expansion, focusing on delivering seamless service and uncovering new growth opportunities within existing school district partnerships. Responsibilities:
  • Identify and generate leads within school districts through outreach, research, and networking.
  • Support the Senior Sales Manager by qualifying leads, scheduling meetings, and managing inbound and outbound leads within the CRM system.
  • Serve as the primary contact for districts post-deal closure, ensuring a smooth transition from sales to account management.
  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with school district leaders to foster partnerships.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure successful onboarding and implementation of solutions.
  • Report on sales activities, forecast revenue, and provide data-driven insights and recommendations.
  • Assist in creating customized quotes, proposals, and contracts for potential clients.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities for upselling and cross-selling additional services to existing clients.
Requirements:
  • At least 3 years of experience in sales, account management, or business development, preferably within K-12 education or EdTech.
  • Proven success in managing client relationships and closing sales.
  • Strong prospecting and lead generation skills, including outreach and research.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, especially with school district leaders.
  • Experience with CRMs like Salesforce or HubSpot for pipeline management.
  • Attention to detail in preparing quotes, proposals, and sales documentation.
  • Ability to proactively identify expansion opportunities and grow accounts.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, quota-driven environment.
