The Account Executive (AE) role is critical in Zyte’s sales organization. It drives new business acquisition and revenue growth. The sales team is target-oriented, focusing on achieving monthly and quarterly booking and invoicing goals, while strategically expanding in key areas.

You will work with a team comprising a Sales Manager, an Account Executive, a Business Development Rep (BDR), and a Solutions Architect (SA). Your primary responsibility is to acquire new business in net new accounts, working from SQLs provided by the BDR, progressing these through the sales cycle to closure, and creating opportunities via outbound campaigns targeting strategic prospects. Your goal is to understand customer needs and offer Zyte products that are the best fit, leveraging your product expertise. You will collaborate with the Demand Generation team to provide feedback on lead quality and conversion rates.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Possess significant experience in outbound sales
  • Generate appointments via email, phone, social media, and networking to promote Zyte solutions
  • Proactively engage with strategic prospects to create opportunities and close deals
  • Utilize strong selling and influencing skills to secure customer commitment
  • Follow up promptly via phone/email and document results accurately
  • Qualify customers through detailed questioning and score them internally
  • Forecast your sales pipeline using Zyte's Sales Methodology
  • Maintain high-quality customer contact records in the CRM system
  • Attend customer meetings and conferences as required

Requirements:

  • 3+ years in an outbound sales role
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed sales and activity quotas
  • Energy, enthusiasm, and ability to work under pressure
  • Strong deal closing and negotiation skills
  • Effective team collaboration skills
  • High organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail
  • Experience with Account-Based Marketing (ABM) initiatives
  • Understanding of data harvesting/web crawling is a plus
  • Experience selling SaaS/PaaS to enterprise accounts
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Creativity, initiative, and commercial awareness
  • Experience with sales analytics and pipeline management techniques
