The Account Executive role combines sales activities and customer relationship management, specifically in our political and advocacy vertical. Reporting to the Political Sales Director, you’ll be responsible for growing existing business and closing new programmatic advertising revenue from political and advocacy media buyers. A successful candidate must have a strong background in political media, with a clear understanding of goals, objectives, KPIs, and exposure to solutions relevant to political media buyers. You’ll work closely with StackAdapt Account Managers to grow and retain existing accounts by presenting new campaign strategies and solutions, and building strong relationships.

StackAdapt is a remote-first company, and we are open to candidates located anywhere in the US for this position.

What you'll be doing:
  1. Identifying, pitching, and closing platform sales deals with political, public affairs, and government media buyers
  2. Collaborating with management and product teams to specify and develop products
  3. Managing existing client relations and seeking opportunities for account growth
  4. Working with your dedicated StackAdapt Account Manager to grow and retain accounts through presenting new strategies and solutions, and building relationships
What you'll bring to the table:
  1. Experience in digital political advertising sales; programmatic experience is a plus
  2. Knowledge of political & advocacy campaigns, understanding of common goals and KPIs, and exposure to political media solutions including data, measurement, and attribution
  3. An entrepreneurial mindset to seek and win new business
  4. Proficiency with CRM tools to build a pipeline, ensure client satisfaction, and identify renewal and growth opportunities
  5. Experience in building client pitch decks and conducting research to close new business
  6. A proven track record of success in a quota-driven environment
  7. Ability to communicate technical concepts and platform knowledge effectively to executive prospects
  8. Willingness to travel regionally to meet with clients
