Position Summary: AEI Corporation seeks a motivated and experienced Account Executive to expand its Pacific Northwest and Northern California presence. This remote-based role is ideal for a self-starter with strong sales instincts, territory management experience, and a passion for building long-term customer relationships. The successful candidate will work with an established book of business while identifying new opportunities in the contractor, multifamily, hospitality, and retail channels.
Responsibilities:
Manage and grow sales in a multi-state territory: Northern CA, OR, and WA
Develop and execute a business plan to achieve individual and team revenue goals
Prospect, present, and close new accounts through phone, in-person meetings, and trade shows
Maintain relationships with key accounts while expanding into new verticals
Track leads, sales activities, and pipeline progress in the CRM
Deliver clear and compelling presentations to contractors, developers, and distributors
Stay informed on product updates, installation needs, and industry trends
Represent AEI at regional events, customer visits, and national tradeshows (approximately 20–25 travel days/year)
Requirements:
Proven success in B2B field sales, account management, or territory development
Self-motivated and able to work independently from a home office
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong time management, planning, and follow-through
Comfortable with CRM systems, MS Office, and virtual presentations
Basic technical aptitude (ability to understand gas/electric appliance specifications)
Experience in HVAC, building materials, or appliance industries is a plus
Familiarity with reading technical drawings or layouts is a bonus
A bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field is preferred, but not required
